Marisa has been connected to the club since 2016 when her daughter first joined the Academy. In 2022, her son was old enough to start training and Marisa joined Back to Hockey, having not picked up a hockey stick since school. The whole family enjoy being able to play hockey together on Sunday mornings, and particularly enjoy a bit of family competition with social family matches and U12 v Parents matches. She took up the role of Junior Membership and Fixtures in 2023, helping to organise the Academy’s fixtures for U8s up to U14s, against other clubs in the county.
Lizzy has two boys who joined St Neots Hockey Club Junior Academy in 2022. Instead of getting cold on Sunday mornings Lizzy joined in with the Parents Back to Hockey sessions not having picked up a stick since school and has been taking part ever since alongside supporting the Junior Academy at the club.
