St Neots Hockey Club abides by the Sprit of Hockey - Code of Conduct set by England Hockey
The Spirit of Hockey outlines the expected levels of behaviour for everyone involved in hockey. Although we are responsible for setting standards, each member of the hockey family has a responsibility to ensure equal access and opportunity for all.
Does the code apply to me?
Yes - if you are involved in the game at any level, then the code applies to you.
What is the purpose of the code?
England Hockey is responsible for setting the standards and values that apply at every level. By sharing the code across the sport, they believe they can uphold the highest standards of integrity and ensure that the reputation of the sport is - and remains - at a high level.
The code is split into 4 key principles
