The Women’s 2s were the only side to win on another difficult weekend for the club.
The 2s were first in action of the home sides, hosting at Northstowe College, beating Wisbech 2s 4-1.
Wisbech took the lead ten minutes into the game, but Saints responded well with Sue Glover scoring the equaliser.
Ness Wilson scored Saints’ second to give them the lead heading into the break.
Early in the second half, Glover doubled her tally before Hayley Doyle wrapped up the win.
The Men’s 2’s unbeaten run finally came to an end in an exciting game with fellow promotion chasers Bourne Deeping 2s.
After a close but goalless first half, Saints took the lead early after the break when Chris Butterworth fired in a short corner.
Saints piled on the pressure and were two up when captain Owen Edwards reacted quickest to a loose ball in the D.
The visitors pulled one back with twenty minutes to go and equalised soon after.
Both sides created great chances for a winner, but it was Bourne who found it with two minutes left on the clock.
A 4-2 win was confirmed at the final whistle when Bourne finished at a short corner and move clear at the top of the table ahead of the 2s.
Both first teams suffered heavy defeats.
The Men’s 1s were also in action against Bourne Deeping, losing to their 1s 7-3.
Bourne raced into a three goal lead before Saints pulled one back through Nick Hipwell.
Saints were being punished from short corners as Bourne regained their three goal lead.
Brad Forsdick and Jake French scored two quick goals to pull the tie back to 4-3 at half time.
The hosts continued to be effective from the short corners and scored three further goals.
The Women’s 1s were beaten 5-2 away to Spalding 1s.
The hosts took an early two goal lead, but a penalty corner goal from Amy Wilkinson either side of the break and a Spalding third, pulled Saints back into it.
Two late goals from Spalding confirmed the loss for Saints.
Both third teams lost heavily away from home without scoring.
The Men’s 3s lost 5-0 to Cambridge City 5s, while the Women’s 4s lost 8-0 to Oundle 1s.
In the final home game of the day, the Women’s 4s were narrowly defeated 3-2 to City of Peterborough 5s.
Ness Wilson and Sue Glover were again on target for Saints.
