The Men’s 1s returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win away to Bourne Deeping 1s. Saints started brightly and took the lead through Phil McMorris.
They were pinned back before the break when the hosts equalised, despite keeper Ben Seaber pulling off a string of good saves.
In the second half, Saints pressed well again, creating a number of excellent chances before McMorris scored his second and confirmed the three points.
The 2s lost 1-0 at home to Cambridge City 7s, while the 3s were beaten 4-1 away to City of Peterborough 6s. Paul Lawman with the goal for Saints. The 4s earned a brilliant 3-2 away win against Newmarket 4s. Oliver Colbert, Chris Smith and Zachery Byrnes-Blevins were on target.
St Neots Women’s 1s 100% start to the season came to end, but remain top of the league following their 2-2 away to St Ives 1s. Ella Roberts and Holly Harper scored the goals for Saints which ensured they stay unbeaten.
The 2s were on the end of another defeat, narrowly losing 5-4 at home to Cambridge City 5s. Captain Kira Herbert scored a hattrick and Kate Clark added the fourth. The 3s had to abandon their game against Cambridge University 4s during the second half due to a floodlight fault. The 4s picked up their first win of the season, beating Wisbech Town 4s 5-0. Goals came from Kira Herbert, Jay Dickinson, Lucia Benbow and Clara Rooney with two.
