A late goal gave St Neots Women’s 1s a 1-0 win away to Long Sutton 1s and ensured they stay top and unbeaten for Christmas.

Ely scored from a short corner before half time, but a quick reply from Mike Hornby gave the three goal lead back.
Saints extended their lead further after the break when Hornby doubled his tally, but the visitors started to create more opportunities.
A second from Ely mid way through the half gave them a glimmer of hope, but Saints held on for the win.

Owen Edwards opened the scoring for Saints, but the goal was quickly cancelled out by a Nomads reply.
Two goals from short corners either side of the break, one from James Findlay and the other from Chris Mailes, gave Saints the three points.
The 4’s win came thanks to a William Clarke goal in their 1-0 win over Newmarket 4s.
Anthony Holmes scored the 3’s only goal as they were defeated 7-1 at home against Ely City 2s.
